Low power GPS module for PIC24FJ project? (BobAGI)

I have used an EM-406A GPS module in a couple of PIC24FJ projects and it works OK. However, now I am looking at a low-power project so I need to reduce power wherever I can and the GPS module is a major contributor to battery drain... Can someone her
